Skint is a tactile reflection on the great powers of the everyday, pale privilege and self-care processes through mindful play with material and touch. The work is distilled from an exploration of colour, meaning and emotional reasoning. Where the object for making sense is hand crafted and bodily, its’ portability, like any device, imbues connecting the dots of what is blatantly life - beige, bland, intense, yet full of wonder and deserving of celebration
