I have always been fascinated by colours that are difficult to define. I like the doubting, is it green or blue, orange or pink? Beige isn’t just beige, but a colour that exists in an infinity of tones. How we each define it is very personal. I’ve never had beige clothes; I’ve never painted the walls in my home beige. Pursuing my own beige kept me up at night, until I finally found my own personal version of this indefinable colour. Beige is the colour of my daughter’s long hair, and beige is the colour of the hazelnut tree that I played under with my childhood best friend who also had beige coloured hair. Beige is love.
