Beige to me is associated with the colour of skin, coming in a wide variety of tones. My work aims to capture memories and feelings, which within time are slowly fading away, becoming like a trace or mark under the skin. ‘Landscape-monochrome-beige’, is dedicated to my time in Scotland and my memories of the highland landscape. Light plays an important role in the way I am seeing the world, becoming an integral part of my work.
