HOLY BEIGE
A white canvas has never been my starting point. It’s a weird process trying to cover over a simmering glorious copper-colour with such a pure natural unbleached wool colour, while I see various colours over that canvas.
“Colour” is simply “a reflection of the light frequency”, though I still aim to reconstruct a beige colour - just like seeking an ocean’s colour or the sky’s colour from my limited colour array... Is it purely a poetical process, or an ambitious one?
So, what is beige?
