In my sculptural textile work I am always improvising with the interaction of materials in order to create a whole, which is nevertheless always in progress. With Beige Armour (Beige Mon Amour) I am playing with the friction between different textures and between the prospects of potential incompleteness and completeness. Beige feels incomplete as a colour. And as an object of protection or clothing this armour is incomplete and yet as a wearable object of intent and presence, I am sure it will protect the wearer's heart.
