Beige is the colour of the domesticity, an everyday colour. When thinking of beige, hanging out large sheets on the washing line came to mind. This led to a study of the humble clothes peg, a tool with a vibrant history and an essential if residing on the windy and exposed coast of the West of Scotland. The wood assumes unique beige patinas from everyday use. This collar is a celebration of domesticity, beige at its finest, for the Domestic Deity.
