Ailsa Morrant
My work is about celebrating the everyday ordinary.
There is a lot of beige in our everyday ordinary but I need beige in my life so I can think.
The longer I stare at beige, the calmer I feel
and experience the sensation of detached subconscious consciousness,
as if between sleep and waking;
the time when your creative imagination is free, and everything has clarity;
the period after incubation.
A day of beige can make all the difference.
